Project Features
Completion: 2002
- The Lester B. Pearson International Airport overpass was fabricated with straight and bowed box girders with a weight of up to 80 tons each. Installation work took place at night while the airport highway was closed. This ambitious project included some cambers of close to 5 feet.
- Structal-Bridges’ annual production capacity of 25,000 tons allowed it to complete the project on schedule. Structal-Bridges’ has one of the largest production capacities in the Canadian bridge industry.
