Project Features
Completion: 2002
- When the Philadelphia Eagles decided to build a one-of-a-kind stadium, their general contractor, Turner Construction Company, realized that they needed a steel fabricator who was a team player capable of producing and erecting specialized structural steel components on a very demanding schedule.
- The project involved 10,000 steel members with wideranging complexity, including raker beams, “boomerang” columns and zee-shaped roof girders. With Structal’s expertise, the steel was completed in record time allowing follow-up trades early access and the time they needed for a successful project completion.
