Luc Pelland joined the company in 2002 as Vice President, Procurement of Canam Group. In the summer of 2006, Mr. Pelland was appointed President of Structal-Heavy Steel Construction. Structal, a business unit of Canam Group, executes major and highly technical projects in the North American construction sector.
Mr. Pelland began his career with Fiducie Desjardins where he worked as a marketing analyst from 1976 to 1978. He was with BPOC, a subsidiary of Emco, from 1980 to 1991, successively holding the positions of analyst, superintendent of the LaSalle plant and national customer service manager. In 1991, Mr. Pelland joined Sodisco Howden as general manager of Servimat, the construction materials division. He worked for Westburne Quebec as general manager of the electrical division between 1997 and 2002.
Mr. Pelland holds a Bachelor's degree in Administration from the École des hautes études commerciales (HEC) and an M.B.A. from the University of Sherbrooke. |
